How to play
- Chart the sky so every row, every column and every outlined region holds exactly one star. On the Sunday double, two.
- Stars never touch, not even at a corner.
- Tap a cell once to mark it empty, twice for a star, three times to clear it. Drag to mark several cells. Marks are free.
- A star that would touch another, or sit in a row, column or region that is already full, is not placed and costs nothing.
- A star the answer does not have is a wrong star, and it is shown at once. Three wrong stars and the chart is finished for you.
One puzzle a day, the same for everyone. No hints and no second goes: your result stands until tomorrow's puzzle.

About Nightchart
Nightchart is a Star Battle puzzle: a grid cut into regions, with a star to place in every row, column and region and no two stars touching. Boards grow through the week, from 7 by 7 on Monday to a 10 by 10 with two stars on Sunday.
Every board has exactly one answer, proven by an exhaustive search, and can be solved by reasoning alone. Regions carry a heavy border as well as a colour, and each has a constellation name that screen readers read out.
