Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Sundry Mill ("we", "us") about our mobile apps, Photo Privacy, Wayvl for Android and Stowbook, and this website, sundrymill.com. By downloading or using an app, or using this site, you agree to them. Our desktop apps and web tools (Framok, Qulok, novrl, Reyoy, Puplr and Wayvl on the web) each have their own terms on their own site.

Your licence to use the apps

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use each app on phones you own or control, under these terms and the usage rules of the store you got it from. You may use the apps for personal and work projects.

You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the apps, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows it. The apps, their names, designs, templates and artwork belong to Sundry Mill, and we keep every right these terms do not give you. Fonts and other parts made by others are used under their own licences.

Your files and what you make

Your photos, recordings, files, inventory and everything you make with the apps stay yours. We claim no rights in them, and the apps add no watermark. The apps process them on your phone and we do not receive them; the privacy policy explains this in full.

You are responsible for having the right to use the audio, images, logos and fonts you add, and for what you share.

Pro, purchases and subscriptions

• Free to use. Each app is free to download and use. The features the store listing describes as free stay free.
• Pro is a one-time purchase. Pro adds features to one app and is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play (Wayvl for Android through Google Play only). The store shows the price in your currency before you buy. Pro is paid for once. It does not renew and is not charged again.
• Restoring Pro. Pro belongs to the Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. Tap Restore Purchases in the app to unlock it again on another phone or after a reinstall.
• Subscriptions. Our apps sell no subscriptions today. If one ever does, the store will show the price and billing period before you subscribe, and the subscription will renew automatically at the end of each period, charged to your store account, until you cancel it. You cancel through the store: on iPhone in Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android in the Google Play app, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Apple asks you to cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to stop the next charge. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep what you paid for until the end of the current period.
• Payment. Apple or Google handles billing under its own terms. We never see your card details.

Refunds

Purchases in the apps are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their policies, and we cannot issue a refund ourselves. To ask for one:

If something is wrong with an app, email support@sundrymill.com as well, so we can fix it. Nothing in these terms takes away refund or consumer rights the law gives you.

Acceptable use

Please do not use the apps or this site to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, including their privacy and copyright, to harass anyone, or to make or share anything unlawful. Do not try to get around Pro, the purchase check or the limits that keep the site's forms working for everyone.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the apps and this site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to make them reliable, but we do not promise they will be free of errors, always available, or work on every phone. Some laws do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

• Photo Privacy helps you remove hidden details and cover sensitive parts of photos, but it cannot promise to find everything. Some files keep information in places or formats the app does not recognise, auto detect can miss text or faces or mark the wrong area, and a photo can still give things away through what it shows. Review each photo and each box before you share it.
• Stowbook keeps your records on your phone, where they can be lost with the phone. Make backups. Reminders depend on your phone's notification settings, and we cannot promise that an insurer or retailer will accept a report or record the app makes.
• Wayvl for Android works on the files you give it. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Sundry Mill is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, privacy, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the apps or this site. This includes information that remains in, or is revealed by, a file you share. Our total liability for any claim about an app is limited to the amount you paid for that app's Pro upgrade, if any. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Apps from the App Store

If you got an app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these points take priority over anything else here that conflicts with them:

• These terms are between you and Sundry Mill only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Sundry Mill, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Your licence is limited to using the app on Apple branded products that you own or control, as the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions allow, except that it may also be used by other accounts linked to you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• Sundry Mill is solely responsible for maintenance and support of the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it.
• Sundry Mill is solely responsible for any product warranties that are not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• Sundry Mill, not Apple, is responsible for any claims by you or anyone else about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
• If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Sundry Mill, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
• You must follow any third party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile data agreement.
• Questions, complaints and claims about the app go to Sundry Mill at support@sundrymill.com.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you as a third party beneficiary.

Apps from Google Play

If you got an app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and to any purchase you make through Google Play.

Using this site

You are welcome to read the site, follow its links and use its forms. Please do not use the forms to send spam, abuse, malware, or anything unlawful. We may delete anything sent in breach of this.

Desktop apps and web tools

Framok, Qulok, novrl, Reyoy, Wayvl on the web and Puplr each live on their own site. Paid apps are sold there, and the checkout page says who processes the payment. Prices, licences, refunds and system requirements are set out on each app's site.

Build enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or an obligation on either side. If we agree to build something for you, the scope, price and ownership are agreed separately and in writing before any work starts.

We treat the idea you send as confidential. We will not share it, or build it for anyone else, without your agreement.

Support

We read every support message and aim to reply to each one that asks for an answer. Replies are help. They do not guarantee a particular fix or date.

Our work

The Sundry Mill name, the windmill mark, and the words, images and films on this site belong to Sundry Mill. Please do not copy them or use them in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.

Links to other sites, including our own app sites, are covered by those sites' own terms.

Ending these terms

You can stop using an app at any time by deleting it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms, and you must then stop using the app. The disclaimers and the limit of liability continue to apply after that.

General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the apps and this site. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, we have not waived it.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. If you keep using an app after a change, the new terms apply.
